DAMAX Solutions undertook a participatory evaluation of climate-smart and regenerative agriculture interventions under TACATDP while supporting the development of an integrated digital monitoring, evaluation and reporting system.
Covering 31 implementation regions, the assessment examined the adoption and effectiveness of sustainable agricultural practices including conservation tillage, agroforestry, soil health management, water-efficient irrigation and climate-resilient crop varieties.
The study employed a mixed-methods approach involving 1,240 survey respondents, 16 focus group discussions and 30 key informant interviews with farmers, agribusinesses, government officials and programme stakeholders.
Alongside the evaluation, DAMAX worked with CRDB's monitoring and evaluation and ICT teams to develop an integrated reporting solution designed to automate key programme indicators, consolidate regional performance data and strengthen accountability to the Green Climate Fund.
The assignment supports evidence-based programme management, climate investment monitoring and continuous improvement of agricultural resilience interventions.
